One of a very small number of wall mounted gas fires that can be recessed into an external cavity wall with no need to build out in the room. This saves space in smaller rooms plus being raised up in the wall, no hearth is needed so you won't lose any floor space either. Supplied with a modern, brushed stainless steel trim with anthracite outer trim which will suit a wide variety of interiors.

The Elgin & Hall Elsie 960BF has a slimline inset depth of only 174mm (7") so it can be inset into a standard cavity wall and the horizontal balanced flue kit supplied with the fire exits through the wall to take the fumes outside. Being glass-fronted, the fumes can't go anywhere except through the balanced flue pipe to the outside so there is no fan or electrics required.

Packed with the very latest technology, the Elsie 960BF features a panoramic glass front with a lovely log effect fuel bed. A reflective black glass interior offers a stunning effect by mirroring the dancing flames as well as creating the illusion of a deeper fire. Superb performance with a maximum heat output of 4.6kW and impressive high efficiency of 86% make the Elsie 960BF an excellent and cost effective way to heat the room you spend most of your time in.

With an built-in convector box heat will be distributed quicker into the room whilst reducing the heat around the appliance for a cooler wall. Cleverly controlled by a 'Smartslide' lever at the front of the fire which gives you total control over on/off and flame height adjustment.
