It is a unique, patented means of generating realistic simulated flames from an electric source and creates the illusion of flames emanating from the centre of an enhanced depth fuel bed to provide a realistic glow that can be enjoyed throughout the whole year. Updated for 2020, the SP16E now uses highly advanced LED technology which boasts much lower flame effect running costs compared to standard bulbs allowing you to enjoy this stunning effect without worrying about energy bills.

With no chimney or flue required, the Dimplex SP16E can be simply hung on to any flat wall using the bracket supplied and plugged in. Perfect for main living rooms, dining rooms, extensions, conservatories etc. Subject to adequate depth being available, the SP16E can also be recessed into the wall for a modern, flush fit. Operated by a remote control with manual override controls on the fire also.

When the room temperature drops, the fire incorporates a 2kW fan heater which helps to give the room a boost of heat quickly. Normally adequate to provide enough heat during the warmer months and a reliable back-up to your main source of heating during the winter times.
