The mantelpiece offered here is the Flat Victorian in natural Italian Carrara. This traditional design dates back over 150 years and will definitely appeal to those looking to add a charming, classical focal point to their home. You have the option of choosing from 1350mm (53") or 1500mm (59") mantel widths and it is also available in honed black granite and Turkish limestone (see separate product listings).
Shown in the images fitted with the Majestic arched cast insert which is a plain arched cast-iron insert in a matt black finish, with only the outer band polished. Also shown is the Integra Solid Fuel Box which is a wood burning and smokeless fuel burning appliance that is DEFRA approved allowing you to use even if you are located in a smoke controlled area.
Alternatively, all of the optional Integra inserts can be supplied with a dedicated gas fire or electric fire with models suitable for all flue types plus there's a Balanced Flue gas fire designed for installation into properties on a flat, external wall with no chimney or flue needed!
Due to the innovative design of the optional Integra inserts, this combination can be fitted on to a flat wall without and recess needed. You also have the opportunity to combine with any of the other Integra cast inserts and a wide array of gas fires boasting the very latest technology.
Unlike the majority of cast iron inserts which offer a gas fire that provides very little heat and poor efficiency, the Integra range have the ability of being able to be supplied with a large number of gas fires to suit all flue types and even for properties with no chimney or flue! They are all capable of providing a decent heat output whilst not compromising on looks.
Hearths
The Integra Collection boasts a range of beautiful, practical and robust hearths to suit the Integra appliance of your choice. Suitable materials used for the hearths include honed or polished black granite, slate stone and limestone. Hearths come in three different styles:
Boxed & Lipped: These are traditional hearths with 20mm thickness and 30mm risers below.
Munro: These are more robust and contemporary having a 30mm thickness and 20mm risers below. Munro hearths are softer on the eye and to the touch having attractive rounded bullnose edges.
Solid Fuel: Hearths used for wood burning or solid fuel appliances are traditionally cut into four sections and fixed back together to allow for expansion. For use with Solid Fuel Integra, Cast Tec supply sturdy sectioned Munro hearths in honed or polished black granite.
