This stylish, free-standing stove comes with the option to be fitted with additional high legs (300mm) or low legs (150mm), providing a choice of 3 stove heights, which create amazingly different looks. The space below the stoves can also be used to store logs making the legs functional as well as aesthetic.
Backed up by the very latest technology to aid performance and efficiency. A perfect choice for small to medium modern interiors, the Portway P1 Contemporary has a nominal heat output of 4.9kW and an impressive energy efficiency rating of 78.8%. In most circumstances, additional ventilation in the room (an air vent) is not normally required with this model.
The stove can burn logs up to 300mm (12") and is suitable for use in smoke control areas. This product benefits from a 10 Year Guarantee and is fully compliant with the Eco design directive exceptional 2022 EU standards set to improve the environment by producing highly efficient stoves, that offer clean burning, with ultra low emissions.
The viewing window provides a lovely view of the flames which is kept clear by an active Airwash system. A top or rear (interchangeable) 5" flue outlet on the stove make it suitable for a variety of installations and with a slimline depth, the Portway P1 Contemporary is ideal for recessing into chambers where depth is at a premium.
With multi-fuel capability, you have the ability to burn either wood logs or approved solid fuels. The Portway P1 Contemporary is also classed by DEFRA as a 'Smoke Exempt Appliance' so even if you live in a smoke controlled area, you can legally burn wood or smokeless fuels. The stove is very easy to operate and includes a large, easy-carry ashpan for simple maintenance.
