Portway P2 Contemporary Multi-Fuel Stove

The Portway P2 Contemporary Multi-Fuel is a steel stove with cast iron door which features a large viewing window and is exceptionally easy to operate. In black with three leg heights, this is a highly versatile stove.

Ideal for those who require more heat, the Portway P2 Contemporary stove has a heat output rating of 6.9kW. But for homeowners with more standard sized rooms who want the impressive looks of a larger appliance, you can fit optional 'Reducer Bricks' inside the appliance which reduces the fire chamber size and therefore reduces the heat output rating to a standard 5kW.

This stylish, free-standing stove comes with the option to be fitted with additional high legs (300mm) or low legs (150mm), providing a choice of 3 stove heights, which create amazingly different looks. The space below the stoves can also be used to store logs making the legs functional as well as aesthetic. You also have the option of a canopy which fits on top of the stove increasing the overall height which is a popular choice of taller enclosures.

The stove can burn logs up to 410mm (16") and is suitable for use in smoke control areas. The viewing window provides a lovely view of the flames which is kept clear by an active Airwash system. A top or rear (interchangeable) 5" flue outlet on the stove make it suitable for a variety of installations and with a slimline depth, the Portway P2 Contemporary is ideal for recessing into chambers where depth is at a premium.

With multi-fuel capability, you have the ability to burn either wood logs or approved solid fuels. The Portway 2 Contemporary is also classed by DEFRA as a 'Smoke Exempt Appliance' so even if you live in a smoke controlled area, you can legally burn wood or smokeless fuels. The stove is very easy to operate and includes a large, easy-carry ashpan for simple maintenance.
