The Wenlock surround has beautiful detail along the mantel chest and extending down the legs. It is made from natural Agean Limestone with white/cream tones and will compliment any colour scheme. Agean Limestone is a natural product formed over millions of years. It features modest, natural markings including veining and fossils and every piece is unique which is what sets it apart from man-made materials. At a standard mantel width of 1375mm (54"), it is well suited to standard room sizes.
Choose from three popular cast iron inserts for the interior. The classical Langley and Jubilee offer a simpler look to the more decorative Lytton insert with its intricate detailing however, when combined with the Pureglow Wenlock fireplace surround, they still work equally well in modern homes. All inserts are supplied in highlight finish with the raised areas being polished creating a striking contrast to the matt black cast iron background.
Also included in this offer is a choice of gas or electric fire. The DGF gas fire as shown in the main image provides a lovely, ambient effect with a glowing coal bed and dancing flames recreating the beauty of a real fire but with the convenience of gas. Whilst this type of fire is not designed for its heating performance, it is ideal to relax in front of to enjoy its aesthetic appeal.
The electric fire option comprises of a dedicated, orange molded casing with lose coals. Lights underneath the casing illuminate to provide a warming glow. When needed, you can gain access to the 1kW/2kW convected fan heater by moving the ashpan cover at the bottom of the insert. A shiny, black granite hearth (54" x 15" ) is also included.
