Crafted from durable steel with a distinctive cast iron door featuring the iconic AGA logo, this gas stove offers the advantage of instant on/off functionality and precise control using the included thermostatic remote control with a 7-day timer. The highly realistic ceramic log fuel effect enhances the stove's authenticity, creating the impression of a real wood-burning stove.
The AGA Ellesmere EC5W is a balanced flue gas stove, meaning it does not require a conventional chimney and can be fitted against an external wall. With various balanced flue kits available to suit your installation needs, this stylish stove is ideal for main living areas, dining rooms, extensions, conservatories, and more. It delivers up to 5.5kW of heat with an impressive efficiency rating of 82%.
For installations against an external wall, the 'Rear Exit' balanced flue kit attaches to the back of the stove and vents horizontally through the wall to an outside terminal, similar to a combi boiler. Alternatively, the 'Top Exit Up & Out' balanced flue kit is available in black or stainless steel finishes. This kit attaches to the top of the stove, runs vertically to a 90º bend, and then vents horizontally through the wall to an external terminal.
If your home has a conventional brick chimney, you can still install the Ellesmere EC5W 'Wide' Gas Stove using the 'Chimney Renovation Kit.' This kit allows for installation into the chimney when combined with a flexible flue liner (not supplied).
The EC5W is a beautiful and versatile gas stove designed for various installation types and is also available in models compatible with mains natural gas supplies.
