The Studio 2 Air Freestanding is a dedicated wood burner that will appeal to those with large rooms or anyone looking to heat an open-plan living area. This cutting-edge, Freestanding log burner can either be installed in a fireplace chamber, freestanding against a wall, or mounted on a stove bench.

The Studio Air 2 Freestanding offers an impressive heat output, ensuring an immense flame picture through its wide viewing window, and offers a heat shield for reduced distance to combustibles. For enhanced visual allure and grandeur, Studio Air Freestanding models are also compatible for mounting on a Stovax stove bench.

With a variety of size options, they offer greater design possibilities to accommodate your individual styling requirements. You can even use the space beneath for log storage! (Logs should only be stored beneath the bench if there is sufficient distance from the stove).

High Efficiency
All Studio Air fires have been designed to burn with high thermal efficiency, minimising the loss of heat energy during combustion. This highly advanced wood burning cassette fire is subject to European energy labelling standards and Stovax are proud that all are rated as ‘A’ energy class appliances across the Studio Air range.

Burning Wood
The Studio Air range is designed for burning wood only. Unlike fossil fuels, wood combustion releases approximately the same amount of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere as was absorbed during a tree’s growth, offering a virtually carbon neutral fuel source. Furthermore, when sourced from well-managed and sustainable woodland, wood makes a great renewable energy solution.

Choosing a high efficiency Studio Air is a great step towards burning responsibly. To ensure your appliance provides optimum heating performance, only seasoned logs with a low moisture content should be burnt. Logs should be seasoned for at least two years or more to achieve a moisture content between 15-20%, which can be easily checked with a moisture meter.
