With a powerful nominal heat output of 11kW which rises to a immense maximum output of 13kW when running at full capacity, it's easy to see why this model was designed to cope with the coldest of Scandinavian winters.
With rugged looks and manufactured using high quality cast iron, the DRU 78 will become a major focal point within any larger property. A generous sized door allows for huge logs up to a length of 60cm to be burnt whilst the panoramic arched viewing window provides the ultimate view of the fire whilst being kept clean with a advanced Airwash system.
Superb controllability and the maximum possible heat generated by the fuel burnt thanks to DRU's state-of-the-art triple burn process. Primary air is extracted from underneath the fire plate to start the ignition process then secondary air from the rear is fed through chambers beneath to the front. Finally, tertiary air is inserted through small holes at the back of the chamber. This, in tandem with the secondary air, ensures complete incineration of the fuel and the dispersal of fumes for highest efficiency.
The DRU 78 is simple to use and sustain. They have a useful side loading door for the fuel. The ash pan is easily removed through its own door. A ‘cold-grip’ handle is provided to open all of the doors, and is kept in a cool place under the stove. Top or rear flue connection designed to work in conjunction with a 150mm (6") flue whilst a heat shield at the back protects the wall from staining.
The DRU 78 CB 'Clean Burning' is designed especially to maximise its efficiency when burning wood.
The premium quality, robust cast iron stove is supplied in anthracite (matt black) finish with the option to upgrade to one of four striking high gloss enamel finishes.

Due to the size and weight of wood burning stoves, all DRU Stoves will be delivered to you on a palletised delivery service. All pallet deliveries are kerbside/front door delivery only, so please arrange adequate means to take your order into your home. Under normal circumstances this may take 2 people.
