Enjoy twice the ambience and twice the view of the flickering flames with the stylish, new Clarity Double-Sided Multi-Fuel Stove from Ekol. Using a central chimney, the doors to both the back and the front of the stove are designed to open into adjacent rooms. It could also be used as a free-standing appliance in the centre of a large open plan room if preferred.
The Ekol Clarity is the only double-sided stove to have passed the necessary tests set by DEFRA to allow homes that are located in smoke controlled areas to burn wood and smokeless fuels. This is due to Ekol's Advanced Combustion Research Facility and it is in fact many times cleaner than the required standard.
Sit back in either room and gaze through the crystal clear windows on either side both kept clean by a powerful Airwash system. Compared to individual stoves in each room, you have less work refuelling and even more of a focal point to your home.
The double-sided Ekol Clarity has a hogh efficiency of 76.2%. Ultra Clean Burn and multi-fuel ready giving you the option to burn your choice of logs or approved solid fuels. Can accept logs up to 450mm (18") and featuring a top exit, 150mm (6") flue outlet.
Choose from low or high leg options which are finished in a stylish matt black finish. Suitable for use on a 12mm hearth and boasting a nominal heat output of 11.4kW and a total output range from 5kW to a powerful 14kW!
The Ekol Clarity Double Sided stove is also offered with optional mirror glass. This innovative feature disguises the internal chamber when the stove is not in use with a mirror tint on the glass viewing window. When the stove is lit, you have the same, clear view of the flames as you get with the standard glass option.
This latest version of the Clarity Double Sided stove is EcoDesign compliant. The Ecodesign Ready scheme is an EU initiative to reduce harmful emissions all over Europe. Recent studies by KIWA GASTEC have found Ecodesign Ready stoves can offer a 90% reduction in particulates compared to an open fire and 80-94% compared to an old stove.
