Gallery Bedford Wooden Fireplace (Prince)

The Bedford from Gallery Fireplaces is a gorgeous, solid wood surround offered in a choice of pine or oak with a antique wax finish. With two sizes available it is a popular mantel for all room sizes and depending what you combine it with, will work well in both traditional or modern settings.

It is offered here with the charming Prince tiled cast insert. A reproduction product that mimics classic Victorian era designs, the Gallery Prince is quite a plain design that allows the tiles to become the main focus. The matt black finish is a perfect finish for using with the optional solid fuel kit if you wish to burn wood or coal. For the look of a real fire but with the convenience of instant on/off and flame height adjustment, a dedicated gas fire is also available.

As well as a choice of ten alluring tile sets, the Prince can be specified with its own cast iron back section as an alternative to fitting the fireplace and insert into an existing clay fire back. A vast range of hearths are offered including slabbed hearths if the solid fuel option is selected. The images show the Bedford with Prince fitted with a slate hearth.

The dedicated gas fire has been designed especially to fit within the Prince insert fire chamber and features an authentic coal effect fuel bed and flickering, open flames. Providing a ambient decorative effect which can be enjoyed in conjunction to your main source of heating, the flames are easily adjusted by moving the bottom fret bar to one side to reveal the manual controls.
