Woolly Mammoth set the target of not simply meeting the stringent new efficiency and emission limits of the Eco Design regulations, but to surpass these ahead of schedule.

Manufactured using the optimal combination of strong steel for the stove body and robust cast iron for the door, the Woolly Mammoth 5 Widescreen Mk2 boasts the very latest in technology. An EcoDesign and Clearskies compliant stove for clean burning, efficient and low environmental impact wood burning, this is a stove that will provide many years of dependable warmth to your home whilst creating a lovely, cosy atmosphere.

With nominal heat output of 4.9kW, it is ideal for standard sized rooms and the stove does have the option of connection to direct external air if needed. It can be installed on a 12mm hearth. Being a smoke exempt appliance, you can enjoy the charm, ambience and heating performance that burning wood offers - even if you're located within a smoke controlled area!

The Woolly Mammoth 5 Widescreen is simple to operate using the adjustable Primary and Secondary Air Controls for true multi-fuel burning which the Tertiary Air control provides higher fuel efficiency. You can enjoy a wonderful view of the mesmerising flames dancing around the fully insulated fire box through the stove's glass viewing window which is kept clear by a rear-drawn Air-Wash system.

With the standard leg option, the Woolly Mammoth 5 Widescreen is perfect for sitting inside a fireplace chamber. Alternatively, you have the option of customising the stove further with either a 150mm or 300mm raised leg height which makes the stove well suited to free-standing installations and also provides a handy solution to store wood beneath the stove.
