Gallery Barcelona 36" Cast Iron Combination Fireplace

The Gallery Barcelona Combination cast iron fireplace is available in traditional matt black or fully polished versions and can be fitted with an optional gas fire or supplied with a solid fuel kit allowing you to burn logs or coal. Whilst its compact dimensions and understated lines make it a popular option for narrower chimney breasts and smaller rooms, it will still make a bold statement and become the main focal point.

The Barcelona is a timeless design that is just as appropriate for 21st Century décor as it was for period homes. It's also a popular choice for installation into dining rooms, bedrooms*, studies etc.

Supplied with its own dedicated cast back, you can select a complimenting hearth in a variety of materials and a fire that will suit your lifestyle. The dedicated gas fire provides the ambience of a real coal fire with the advantage of instant control and flame height adjustment.

If choosing the Barcelona fireplace for burning wood or coal (solid fuel kit needed), polished versions are not recommended as tarnishing is likely to occur. Due to the fireplace's dedicated cast back, at least 160mm (6½") recess depth is required.

As the fireplace has a standard 16" opening, you can also combine with a standard gas fire (including high efficiency models) and inset electric fires when the front bars are not used.

The standard hearth size for the Barcelona fireplace is the 36" x 15". A selection of larger hearth options are also offered in case an existing carpet cut-out etc is needed to be covered.
